More Left-Wing Hate Speech

by The Station Agent

In an upcoming book called Strategery--which is clearly designed to provide cover to the Bush administration for its collusion with the mainstream media--President Bush hails the rise of the alternative press.

Man, this is guy is cynical...

Anyway, the book says:

  • Bush claims the mainstream media conspired to harm him with forged documents.
  • RNC Chair Ken Mehlman admits that the Dan Rather "memo-gate" episode "gave us an opportunity, frequently, when things came out in the media that we didn’t believe or didn’t like, to say, ‘It’s another CBS story.”
  • Soon-to-be disgraced advisor Karl Rove called Dan Rather “no serious reporter.” and that Rather and his producers wanted to win the election for... I forget his name--Oh yeah, Kerry.
  • Not to be outdone, Chief of Staff Andy Card said people in the mainstream media “were rooting for a crisis in Ohio. It wasn’t just that they were afraid to admit we had won.”
Ass clown Rove went on to take a couple of shots at the blogosphere. Rove said, “There is so much ugliness and viciousness and fundamental untruths that the blogosphere transmits. It also is a vehicle for ugly rumors, for scurrilous personal attacks, an avenue for the creation of urban legends which are deeply corrosive of the political system and of people’s faith in it.”

Karl, you are funny.
