IST Presents: Politician Of The Century: Claude Allen, a Man Who Steals From the American People and the Corperations

by Jay Allbritton
Perhaps Claude Allen is a fan of 16 time wrestling champion Ric Flair, who's greatest catchphrase was, "Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat."

Or maybe he's a fan of Jane's Addiction, because he's been caught stealin'.

Former domestic policy adviser to President Bush, Claude Allen, was charged with theft Thursday.

Allen was caught receiving phony refunds at department stores. Guess nobody saw him looting the Treasury with the Bush administration and the crooked congress.

Allen resigned from his job as the second highest ranking official at the Health and Human Services Department abruptly on February 9 because he wanted to spend more time with his family and less time getting fired for being an insane kleptomaniac.

When asked about it the President said, "When I heard the story last night, I was shocked, and my first reaction was one of disappointment, deep disappointment — if it's true — that we were not fully informed. Shortly thereafter, I felt really sad for the Allen family."

Allen, 45, is alleged to have returned thousands of dollars worth of merchandise over 25 separate occasions to local stores, including Target.

Allen told White House counsel Harriet Miers that "He assured them that he had done nothing wrong and the matter would be cleared up."

I sincerely hope that this is a mistake. By the way something, who in the heck is Harriet Miers?
