Darfur Negotiations Limp Toward Deadline

by The Station Agent

Friday night on Real Time Bill Maher spoke to some batshit pro-war professor and asked him why we should spread freedom to Iraq and not to the Sudan.

Thursday on The Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert asked PNAC member Bill Kristol which dictator President Bush should take down next. By the way something, Kristol did not fare well in that exchange, which should only wind up in the TV hall of fame.

The reasoning for the Iraq War has been so exasperating that it has forced the question "Why not save the Darfurians?" to be asked so many times, that people are becoming more aware of the ongoing GENOCIDE.

The situation is still grim, but tenuous negotiations to end the conflict are underway.

Geogre Clooney is doing a great job creating awareness. Thousands of protesters are expected on the mall in Washington today.

Gee, maybe someone will stop it one of these days.
