I'm currently reading Bill Clinton's My Life, which should take the rest of my natural life, considering the damn book is fifty thousand pages long and I'm reading two or three pages a day.Reliving those years during these years makes Bill a very sympathetic character.
Three former members of his administration however are making me wonder what the hell they are doing:
- Right at the top of the list is former Clinton Press Secretary Mike McCurry, who is working against internet freedom as a spokesman for the telecom industry. I would like to continue ripping him an ass for the next hour or two, but Firedoglake has that all taken care of--good job by them.
- Donna Shalala, former Clinton secretary for health and human services, is now President of the University of Miami. She also has a hunger strike on her hands.
- Beyond tanking bad on Real Time with Bill Maher, former Clinton advisor Rahm Emanuel, current chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, is really pissing me off by supporting Jan Schneider's special-interest ridden primary opponent. A move that clearly indicates that Democrats are not yet serious about campaign finance reform.
