DC Comics Goes All L-Word with new Batwoman Book

Batwoman is back from the dead as a "lipstick lesbian" as part of a movement by D.C. Comics to create a more ethnically and sexually diverse group of superheros.

Haven't bought a comic book in a while. Might have to check that one out. Purely for research reasons, you understand.

Other new characters and new incarnations of old characters include:

• Mexican teenager Blue Beetle
• Great Ten, a government-sponsored team of Chinese superheroes.
• Black Firestorm
• Asian The Atom

In an unrelated story Robin recently joined the Church of Scientology.
