Intelligence Czar John Negroponte drew protestors to his commencement speech at St. Johnsbury Academy.Looks like Negroponte got some bad intel too, because he thought the town and the academy were named for the Catholic saint, St. John rather than who the school is actually named for, French author Hector St. Jean de Crevecoeur.
Negroponte's spokesman said it was an innocent mistake.
Fronting Reagan's phantom war in Nicaragua apparently is fine, but mess up the history of the school you're speaking at and everyone turns on you.
