Snow--Leaving Iraq Helps al-Qaida Recruiting

Tony Snow went on Meet the Press yesterday and said this:
Yeah, of course (things went wrong), it's a war. Things always go wrong. As a matter of fact, it happens in every war. But I tell you, you want something to go wrong? Have the United States leave before the job is done in Iraq and ... give al-Qaida the biggest recruiting tool of all, which is to say, 'We made the Americans leave.'
Now I know this dude is just doing his job. The Press Secretary gig since Watergate has developed into a joke and Tony Snow is the most stilted version of this joke to date. But you can't go out there, Tony Snow, and say there's no such thing as gravity. Even McClellan didn't do that. Well...

Excuse me, Tony Snow, but the biggest recruiting tool for al-Qaida is this:
