A Beautiful Mind, Part 2

Queen Barbara, aka former first lady, Barbara Bush, has given us another "let them eat cake" moment.

First she commented on Katrina victims by saying "And so many of the people in the arena here (Houston Astrodome), you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this--this (she chuckles slightly) is working very well for them."

I suppose the outcry over that bon mot wasn't enough. Now she's come up with another of her Marie Antoinette moments.

Speaking to Diane Sawyer about Iraq, Queen Babs said "Why should we hear about body bags and deaths, and how many, what day it’s going to happen, and how many this or what do you suppose? Or, I mean, it’s, it’s not relevant. So, why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?”

Murphy Brown had it dead on when she infamously called Babs "Q-tip".
