Democrats Subpoena Fired U.S. Attorneys

Congress issued subpoenas last week as part of an investigation into the firing of several U.S. Attorneys by the Bush administration.

One of the ousted attorneys, David Iglesias, says he was pressured by U.S. Representative Heather Wilson (R-NM) and Senator Pete Domenici (R-NM) to indict Democratic officials before the 2006. Iglesias refused. Wilson and Domenici could face charges.
