The Sports News:
You may have heard, Barry Bonds broke the career home run record with a blast over the center field wall at some stadium in San Fransisco with a ridiculous corporate name. IST's Sports Department policy states in paragraph three, sub-section B, that I don't recognize corporate naming rights for stadiums. Congrats to Bonds, even though his record is tainted, I don't think Barry Bonds ever used steroids in an attempt to gain an unfair advantage, rather, I think he used them as a way to negate the unfair advantages of others. That's no excuse, but the blame can be spread around quite a bit, with the most blame going to MLB Commissioner Bud Selig. You suck, Bud.- Speaking of steroids, pro wrestlers are dying like flies as a result of steroid abuse and other health concerns resulting from the way the business has been run for... well, forever. The Hulkster is speaking out.
- Since you can't watch the best sport in the world here in America, here's the Rugby scores: On Saturday in Twickenham, London, England CRUSHED Wales 62-5 in a World Cup warm up. In another warm-up held in Velez Sarsfield, Buenos Aires, Argentina OBLITERATED Chile 70-14. Next Month in France, World Cup 2007... the shit will go down.
- In local sports news... There ain't none. Well, not since February, when 145 people finished a marathon. Whaaa?
