Castro Resigns, Deadness an Issue

In case you haven't heard, Castro's out in Cuba.

He resigned. This, of course, provoked another round of Castro's dead rumors.

The only valid reason to make an announcement like that at 3am was that the government was in a hurry. Something happened in the middle of the night to make them move up the timetable.

I’m going to go out on a limb and speculate that Castro is dead.

I'll admit, the timing of the announcement is weird...

Eh, not buying it. We have too many eyes and ears inside Cuba. The administration would know if Castro is dead.

Then again... this administration is completely incompetent...

Thinking these things through is getting harder and harder.

I'm going to go with... not dead?

Yeah. But, if Castro turns up dead next week, blogger Drew at Fark gets credit for seeing through the bullshit.
