Matthews Buys a Clue?

Chris Matthews might be in the business of not being a total toolbox. On Tuesday he ripped Rush Limbaugh for operation chaos, even questioning pill-popping Rush's patriotism. Earlier this week Matthews gave a speech at Harvard's Institute of Politics Forum. At the speech Matthews made some obvious, yet fairly uncommon (for a lamestream media insider) assertions about the powitical wandscape.
Perhaps this is Tweety's idea of how to put together a Senate campaign. It's a fascinating phenomenon that may simply be a product of his random inanity. It's not like Matthews hasn't made sense before, it's just been a long time.
