Last weekend Newsweek's Howard Fineman risked his own sanity and sat down with the Col. Kurtz of the media--Chris Matthews. In a surreal conversation about whether or not the White House and/or John McCain actually wants to win the November election, Fineman stated the obvious, yet it was an obvious statement that needed to be made:
