Letterman does seem fairly eager to jump back on Jay Leno here, but why not? Any response Jay Leno gives is going suck because it's going to be given by Jay Leno.
Now, just install that ejector seat for Mr. Phil and we're set.

I don't know about you, but I sure am glad that President Obama came out in favor of offshore drilling just weeks before the worst offshore oil rig disaster in American history is about to make the Gulf of Mexico look like the garage floor at Jiffy Lube!
Drill baby, drill!
Pretty bad timing on that one. I would point out that he didn't come out in favor of it, he actually implemented it. So... Yeah. Not so good.
