Bill O'Reilly did a very good thing. He's picking up the legal tab for the father of Marine Lance Cpl. Matthew A. Snyder, who died while serving in Al Anbar province in Iraq. Snyder's dad sued Westboro Baptist Church members for making a fiasco out of his son's funeral. A jury awarded him nearly $11 million dollars for invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The U.S. Court of Appeals, however, overturned the verdict. Then, shit got real--the court ruled that Mr. Snyder would have to pay $16,500 to cover the legal fees of the church members.Mr. O'Reilly, not only am I willing to temporarily bury the hatchet on this one, I'm giving your right wing, arrogant ass the vaunted Icee Award, because this is an incredibly good use of your monumental wealth. Thank you.

Admit it, you love him. You want to kiss him.
Snirk! I hate to admit that when I heard what O'Reilly was doing, I actually admired him for a split second. But not as much as you, so you have to kiss him.
When you stand next to Glenn Beck you just don't look so insane. And Fred Phelps is a monster, so, good work, Bill-O.
How is this possible? Bill O'Reilly? A Good thing? Does not compute!

Aren't some of the Phelps lawyers? Did they represent themselves? Is O'Reilly actually paying the Phelps Klan?
He's paying the amount the court is obligating the Snyders to pay Westboro members, so, indirectly, yes, the money is going to Westboro, but this keeps the Snyders from going bankrupt.
Not sure about whether or not the Westboro freaks are lawyers.
I've read that some are lawyers and some doctors. I was just wondering if the lawyer bunch were defending the hate. Probably not.
Some one needs to make a movie about this so I can figure it out.
