As Jon Stewart points out in this clip, any Democrat nominated for Senate in South Carolina is going down anyway, so this isn't exactly the crime of the century. What it is, is a huge embarrassment for the Democratic Party, who should have been all over this. There is no excuse for nominating this complete jackass.
Having said all that, it is imperative that we elect this jackass to the Senate because he's way better for America than Jim DeMint.
